Through years of development, we have created a way to place crystals by hand on top of the collar, rather than rivet them in place.
The reason our collars shine cannot be matched with regular “bling” collars, is they all rely on rivets crystals that have a metal ring around the outside of them. This significantly reduces the angles of light that can shine and reflect off the crystal.
By not using rivets and gluing the crystals instead, we increase the angles the crystal can shimmer from substantially. In sun light our collars shine so much they are practically blinding, but in a good way!

Because of the many cuts on the face of the Swarovski crystals, they change colour depending on the angle you look at them, kind of like a rainbow effect. Hands down these are the best crystals in the world for the most shine, colours and reflectiveness to act like real diamonds.

It is up possible to wear daily but not recommended as it was designed for “special occasions.” As with any product, the more use it has, the faster it will wear out and the chances increase of losing a crystal. We have customers that use the collar daily and still have all the crystals on 12months plus. However, if you want the collar to last for years with all the crystals in place, do not use everyday.

No, crystals will not come off provided the collar is cared for and used responsibly. A little bit of common sense goes a long way. The collar is considered dog jewellery and was designed for fashion, not everyday use. Because the glue used is industrial strength, incredibly strong and permanent, the only way to get the crystals off is with force or exposure to elements like extreme heat or salt water etc. If you take care, they will last a lifetime.

Every Swarovski product we sell comes with a handful of spares, just encase. Whilst spares are not needed as the crystals stay on incredibly well, we include some extras so if your dog does manage to scratch one off etc, you can easily fix it without the need to send the collar off or buy a new one. Instructions for how to re attach a crystal will come with the collar.

We highly recommend the collars are not worn in any situation that may expose the collar to damage. (Force, heat, salt water, over use, etc)
After all, you wouldn’t wear a Rolex watch on a worksite as a tradesman, so don’t wear dog jewellery to a dog park, swim in the ocean, rough play, etc.
We cannot guarantee the Crystals will withstand etc we recommend the collars are only worn in calm and supervised situations.

Swarovski products are best suited to dogs that do not scratch much as the brute force used during scratching can rip the crystals. Lots of testing has gone in to ensuring the crystals will stay on, even with scratching, but this cannot be guaranteed. For little dogs, scratching does not pose much risk to damage the collar, although it is possible. Be especially careful with big dogs with strong legs that scratch a lot. This will increase the risk of the crystals being ripped off by force.
For any dog that’s a big scratcher, it’s recommended the dog wears it for photos and the most important instances only and immediately remove the collar after.

Because of the nature of the crystals being glued, we do not offer warranty for crystals falling off, unless in the case of the product being faulty. Years of testing have proven the collars to be incredibly strong, only “losing crystals” through long term or mis use of the product.
When you receive the collar, it will come with care instructions and best practices info.
In the very rare case of the product being faulty, we will of course provide a free replacement or full refund upon physical inspection of the collar.
This can be achieved via photos or physically sending the product back to Swanky Paws.

Take off the collar before letting dogs go in water. This is to stop the buckles from rusting and also protect the leather. You wouldn’t go for a swim with leather shoes on now would you!
Also note the backing suede is not colour fast, it will bleed some of the colour if it gets wet.

To clean the crystals wipte gently with fragrance free baby wipes.

The high quality leather used is from the Netherlands. This genuine leather has an elegant, soft and smooth finish.
